Larry Johnson, 58, of Lenoir City died Thursday, April 15, 2004 at his home. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. He was retired from Yale Security and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Vanice Johnson; brother, Junior Johnson; and sister, Linda Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Johnson and son, Kyle Johnson; brothers, David Johnson and wife, Ruth of Lenoir City, John Johnson and wife, Wanda of Knoxville, Kenneth Johnson and wife, Donnie of Lenoir City; sisters, Louise Cook, Lillian Sarten, both of Lenoir City, Joyce White and husband, Charles of Sweetwater and Barbara Lane and husband, Gerald of Loudon; many nephews, nieces and cousins.

The family received friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Johnson and Rev. Paul White officiating. Burial was followed in the Lakeview Cemetery with military honors conferred by V.F.W. Post #5150 and American Legion Post #120 and #70.
